Freeing 3rd grade to ask do you live in a sustainable economy

2015 was the year the UN (200 nations) envisioned uniting round sustainable economies by 2030 defined round 17 goals

what is not clear is whether the UN understood why 3rd grade teachers need to be empowered to ask the question what kind of economy do you live in - there are really 2 opposite economies:
--the big get bigger
--everybody's livelihoods get more sustainable from generation to generation with priority of ending poverty for those born into least resourced places

-there are those development gurus who say global has been going very well -its lifted billions out of poverty - yet as jeffrey sachs observed at the un july 2017; we live in a world where the 8 richest men own more than half of the whole world's poorest- in our "youth economies" view local globalisation is the only game in town but the 17 goals show how far off a sustainable human race we are in working out how top value spending 1000 times more on learning commns tech in 2016 versus 1946

brac has always empowered 3rd grade teachers to ask the question do you live in a girl empowering sustainable economy; because teachers who are free to ask communities this question also determine urgently missing curricula- in poorest societies 3rd millennium goals up to 2015 only sought to maintain schools for all up to end of 5th grade - in such a schooling system you would want curricula like financial literacy, microentrepreneurial literacy, last mile health care to be there at least for 4th and 5th grade - eg brac has co-partnered in the world leading financial literacy curricula for 9-11 year olds aflatoun- a curriculum that began because of the empowerment of this knowledge in indian orphanages! 

it turns out that isnt not just in poorest communities that brac's insistance of valuying learning for a living is now celebrated as core to societies that em;power girls -and became the dna that launched the WISE summit of educational laureates

for example in australia 10000 thousand girls is a mainly peer to peer curricula that young ladies all over australia share to become financially literate and so independently in control of their livelihoods

moreover research since 2000 shows that in most countries whatever age you leave the education system more than half of youth will find there are no jobs waiting for them - they will need to entrepreneur livelihoods; in south africa most children have left school by 7th grade- so alumni of taddy blecher who initially graduated 10000 entrepreneurs from his nearly free university started in 1999 now called the maharishi institute, have over the last decade worked on missing 6th grade curricula:

the 20th c world wars were signs that human sustainability needed to go beyond industrial revolution; and those signs are all the more so now we see the climate crisis of having designed nations round carbon instead of abundant clean energies (hence one of the top 10 youth economies of this decade must be the green big bang club of 2000 governors collaborating in race to design carbon zero societies/economies) -just one of the 5 biggest sustainability races directly attributable to xi jinping's leadership - and the good news that chinese tv media is extraordinary at investigating broken education systems in ways that no other countries tv has begun to question

a subsistence living
b industrial revolution
c post industrial revolution (some count IR2,3,4)

1 prior to tv age
2 tv age (adveritising and political controlled)
3 can investment in 1000 times more commns tech celebrate smarter age than tv ads
